Preschool Soccer Coach
Location: Centre Meredith & Chelsea Elementary School (Chelsea, QC)
Schedule: Saturday mornings (part-time)
We are seeking a caring and energetic Preschool Soccer Coach to lead fun, age-appropriate soccersessions on Saturday mornings. The coach will focus on introducing basic soccer skills through games
and activities that emphasize play, coordination, teamwork, and confidence-building.
Key Responsibilities● Plan and deliver engaging, play-based soccer sessions for children ages 2–5.
● Introduce fundamentals such as kicking, dribbling, passing, and movement in a fun,
non-competitive way.
● Encourage teamwork, participation, and social skills in a safe and supportive environment.
● Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
● Communicate positively with parents, caregivers, and Centre Meredith staff.
● Support program logistics including equipment setup and cleanup.
Qualifications● Experience working with preschool-aged children (coaching, teaching, childcare, or
recreation).
● Enthusiastic, patient, and able to engage young children in fun, structured activities.
● Knowledge of basic soccer skills and willingness to adapt them for preschoolers.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to program start).
● Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
● Must successfully complete a background check.
Compensation● Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Youth Basketball Coach
Location: Chelsea Elementary School (Chelsea, QC)
Schedule: Weekday evenings (part-time, seasonal) Must be available Monday evenings
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Youth Basketball Coach to lead and support ourbasketball programs for children and youth. The coach will be responsible for planning and delivering
practices, teaching fundamental skills, and creating a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for all
participants.
Key Responsibilities● Plan and deliver age-appropriate basketball practices focused on skill development, teamwork,
and sportsmanship.
● Teach fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and game rules.
● Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive team environment.
● Supervise participants to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
● Communicate effectively with parents, players, and Centre Meredith staff.
● Support program administration as needed (attendance, equipment setup/take-down, etc.).
Qualifications● Experience coaching, teaching, or working with children and youth
● Strong knowledge of basketball rules, fundamentals, and skill development.
● Ability to create a positive, supportive, and fun environment for players of varying skill levels.
● Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Camp Director (Seasonal)
Job Summary (Overall Responsibilities)
Reporting to the Recration Manager the Camp Director will manage, lead and inspire their department team. This position is a seasonal position and requires flexible hours. Hours will vary from part time to full time depending on the season / time of year. As part of the Meredith Centre team you will be a part of a passionate team who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of our community members. The Camp Director is responsible for overall success of camp programming and creating a positive culture while driving profitability within the department. The Camp Director is responsible for staff management, direct client care and intervention, programming, budgeting, preparing reports and assistance with marketing.
Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Supervisory Responsibilities
● Interviewing and hiring part time and full time camp counselors. Following legal HR requirements required by law.
● Supervising, directing, assisting and identifying training requirements of camp staff.
● Preparing camp staff schedule
● Verifying and submitting payroll sheets to the manager for approval.
● Monitoring & evaluation of staff.
● Ensuring all department staff are complying with industry standards and health and safety protocols.
● Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills.
● Training all camp team members in the Standard Operating Procedures of the Centre Meredith and ensuring compliance with the SOP’s.
● Creating, maintaining and evaluating emergency procedures and training of the camp team.
● Circulates often throughout the camp to direct and support campers, clients, andensure cleanliness and high level of safety (and FUN!)
● Experience and demonstrated ability to train, supervise and evaluate staff.
● Ability to accompany and supervise campers and staff in a variety of environments.
● Ability to promote teamwork and work independently when appropriate.
2. Administrative Duties
● Customer service- creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, responding in a timely manner to customer inquiries, concerns and feedback.
● Maintaining consistent records of equipment on site, including inventory of items and creating purchase requests as approved to do so. Documentation of any equipment failure or errors.
● Purchasing equipment as needed and approved by DG, maintaining organization of equipment and up to date inventory.
● Maintaining consistent staff & HR records.
● Prepare reporting documentations for pre-camp, during and end of camp season as required by the manager and DG.
● Cleanliness of spaces used for classes and programs (including the gym) and working closely with maintenance and cleaning staff
● Creating, implementing, maintaining and evaluating camp budgets alongside the manager & DG.
● Communication- strong communication with prospective clients, current clients and staff. Ensure confidentiality in communication when required, handle concerns with professionalism.
● Creation, implementing, distributing and evaluation of marketing- print, social and traditional media creation, alongside the manager, DG and marketing team.
● Ensuring proper signage is maintained and is clear, concise, visible and regularly updated.
● Customer service- creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, responding in a timely manner to customer inquiries, concerns and feedback.
3. Programming Duties
● Creating, implementing, maintaining and evaluating successful camps for children ages 3-12.
● Programming skills in crafts, sports, games, creative play, stories and music.
● Previous experience in a leadership role.
● Previous experience working with children.
● Client satisfaction & relationship building- understanding clients needs, creating strong relationships with clients, creating systems for success to ensure needs are met (and surpassed!)
4. Performs other related duties consistent with the duties listed above. This can also include hours at the Welcome Desk.
Desirable Qualifications: CPR C, Standard First Aid, AED, High FiveWork Hours: seasonal, part time and full time hours.
Until May 1st (Part Time)
● Assist in hiring and training of camp staff
● Prepare and assist with programming and scheduling
● Assist in all pre-camp overall preparations (supplies, planning, communication with staff, communication with clients, etc.)
● Purchasing of supplies and preparing supplies for summer
May to first week of September (Full Time)
● Manage all staff scheduling
● Maintaining proper HR records for all camp staff
● Maintaining proper documentation for all client care issues, feedback, concerns
● Constant and clear communication with management
● Constant and clean communication with campers and families
● Assisting throughout the day where required and needed with day camp staff and children.
● Performing staff evaluations.
● Provide on going leadership opportunities for staff.
