Ateliers Artistiques

  • Cyanotype and botanical inks for adults

Start date: Sunday, November 2 2025.

    Schedule: Sunday, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Whether you're drawn to photography or unique artistic processes, this hands-on workshop introduces you to the art of cyanotype printing—where light, nature, and creativity meet.

Join visual artist and educator Emily Rose Michaud to explore this historic photographic process, also known as blueprint or sunprint, which uses UV light to develop striking cyan-blue prints on paper, textiles, or leather.

You'll learn the fundamentals of cyanotype creation, from working with photosensitive materials to developing prints, while experimenting with various objects, surfaces, and treatments like lemon juice, salt, and soap bubbles.

Participants will leave with their own cyanotype postcard, art prints, and textile pieces. All materials are provided, and you're welcome to bring personal items to incorporate into your designs.
